Bilingual International Marketing Intern (Mexico)

The intern will do market research on the industries we serve in Latin America for us to distribute the Marketbook® Latin America publication to both buyers and sellers in these industries. The regions of research include, but is not limited to, Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, Panama, Argentina, Venezuela and Brazil.
This research may include, but is not limited to, buyer trends – where they purchase inventory, what trade shows and auctions they attend and when, distribution options so we can get our publications to the buyers in the most timely and cost effective way available. This includes researching postal carriers, distribution companies and printers.
It will be the Intern’s objective to analyze the Mexican market to determine an effective entry strategy into the construction, agricultural and hauling industries which we serve. A heavy focus on customer service and a variety of tasks that assist in the implementation of circulation strategies are of equal importance and are additional responsibilities of the Intern.
This position will have the potential to travel abroad to meet with current and potential customers in Mexico. A high level of proficiency in the Spanish language is required; knowledge of other Latin American languages beneficial. Assume other duties as assigned. Interns earn an average of $20/hour+ after completing training.
