System Administrator
The System Administrator is responsible for managing both cloud and on-premise infrastructure in Sandhills Global datacenters. This includes configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring of Windows/UNIX servers and enterprise storage systems. This is a position in a highly collaborative environment working with other skilled professionals to continuously improve datacenter infrastructure, redundancy, and security. Starting pay $81,000, based on experience.

Responsibilities
Install, test, and maintain server/storage hardware and operating system software
Install and test upgrades and software patches
Maintain and support VM environments
Design and implement backup and recovery policies
Implements redundant and fault tolerant systems and assumes responsibility for maintaining and carrying out disaster recovery plans
Research and implement new technologies/strategies
Create and maintain internal processes/documentation
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Preferred
BA in Information Systems or IT Systems Management or 2+ years equivalent experience
Experience in Windows Server, Azure/O365, VMware, Active Directory, and powershell a plus
Able to be on-call rotation and perform off-hours maintenance
Ability to travel, valid driver’s license required
